Founded by pediatric nurses, the non-profit Little Wishes™ allows seriously ill, hospitalized children to wish for something that will fill their heart and brighten their darkest days. These little wishes provide joy and ease discomfort of long hospitalizations. What makes Little Wishes™ program unique? All wishes are granted in the hospital, and a child may make another wish 14 days after receiving their first little wish and every 14 days thereafter! Each wish is delivered with fanfare by the medical team creating a joyous occasion. The Little Wishes program also provides celebrations of milestones such as birthdays, end of chemo parties and graduations.
