Addi has always been on a heartfelt mission to bring joy, comfort, and courage to children spending their days in hospital rooms instead of on playgrounds or at the beach.
Over the years Addi has delivered Brave Gowns, and her inspiring book, “Let’s Go Be Brave,” to children that will be spending their summer undergoing treatment. Together these gifts are that remind kids that even within the hospital walls- there’s still magic, hope, and bravery to be found.
While many kids are enjoying summer break, thousands will wake up in a hospital bed, undergoing treatments or preparing for surgery. Addi knows how that feels, and she’s determined to make a difference.

*About Addi's Journey
August 19, 2024, was the five year anniversary of Addi’s diagnosis of Stage 4 High risk Neuroblastoma cancer that had metastasized all over her body. Our goal was to have 10,000 gowns donated to children in the hospital by this date for Addi to deliver as a symbol of her fight but more than that, a symbol of surviving after so many odds were stacked against her. She continues to bravely face each day with a smile on her face and JOY in her heart as she turns this unthinkable journey into GOOD for others!
She loves picking which gown to wear to face her scans and treatment. It helps alleviate anxiety that comes her way and brings a little excitement to prepping for the hospital. Not only are they soft and colorful, they also allow the nurses and doctors access her, while keeping her covered, which brings her comfort. Addi is the first ever Brave Gowns Child Ambassador and loves helping Brave Gowns fill requests for her to hand deliver in person.
