Help Us Spread Hope to Elizabeth & Children's Hospitals w/ Melissa Ferrara

$ 25.00

Elizabeth is facing the unimaginiable. At, 35, she was recently told by her doctors that this is her last chance to save her own life. After nearly seven years and fifteen surgeries, doctors say she's out of options. Her only option is a liver transplant and she's trying to find her own match. While she processes this, she is also a mom to two young children. As moms and humans, by coming together, we can provide a lifeline to Elizabeth, ensuring she can enjoy many more precious moments with her family, while awaiting a donor. We also want to give her the gift of a little peace before she is in the hospital for a long stint of time and show her the spirit of community.

Join us in a life-changing mission to make a double impact with a single act of kindness! We need your help! Every Brave Gown you sponsor serves a dual purpose. Part of your contribution will directly support the expenses associated with Elizabeth while she awaits to find a donor and during her liver transplant. Simultaneously, another portion will be dedicated to sponsoring Brave Gowns for hospitalized children, bringing smiles, comfort and healing.

  Please sponsor a Brave Gowns and share this message far and wide on social media and via email to encourage others to join us in our mission.

Together, we can make miracles happen!

Thank you!

 We never want families to have to incur the cost while going through treatment. Together we can provide these children with a sense of normalcy and a boost of bravery on their journey! They will be so grateful to us for sending them a gown from YOU! Sponsor a Gift-A-Gown, and leave the rest to us! We will send the gown directly to a child for you!

Why Brave Gowns makse such an impact: "If I have learned anything from being a peds onc nurse over the past 7 years, it is to advocate whenever there is a chance. I had the sweetest newly diagnosed patient the other day who got a PICC line placed. She called out and asked to be disconnected for her bath and mentioned how it was a hassle to be disconnected and reconnected every time. I was told that the hospital transitioned to better "quality" gowns, but they all only had ties in the back and weren't suited for those with PICC lines, which is every child on our floor. I felt a tad embarrassed as I encouraged the family to search online for gowns that would make their days a little easier. This felt so wrong after their life was just turned upside down. If there is anything you can do, please help!"

WHEN ORDERING THESE GOWNS, CHECKOUT WILL ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS, BUT THEY WILL SHIP DIRECTLY TO A CHILD, NOT TO YOU PERSONALLY!
