When I got the text that Chris was holding his dad's hand while he lost his battle to Merkel Cell Carcinoma, I knew we had to do something to help. I can't remember a time that Chris wasn't in my son's life. Over the last few years, I've watched Chris grow in to a man of integrity and honor.
He was by his dad's side and took him to doctor appointments as often as possible. Chris and his dad, Raymond, are both lifetime Venice residents. They are part of the last of us that care and breathe the art and culture of Venice. We knew the cost of laying his father to rest was going to fall on Chris and his siblings, so as a company that supports cancer families, it only seemed fitting to use our VENICE mask or bandana to help raise funds to take the weight off of them. I can't imagine having had the worry of this on my shoulders at such a young age.
Please help take a little pressure off them support by grabbing a VENICE mask or bandana. All net proceeds will be sent directly to Chris and his family to give his dad a memorial that he'd be proud of.
