The last four years of our Brave Gown drives have been so successful that we are doing it again to contine our mission. We'd love your help to make it our most successful campaign yet. Brave Gowns has over 4,000 gowns requests between hospitals, hospitalized children on their waiting list and a national abuse network that does physical exams for abused children that are removed from their home due to trauma. Practicing in neurosurgery also means I see some of the worst things that can possibly take place for a child. In an area of medicine where the stakes are high and the spirits often low, I believe it's important to create an outlet for kids to have fun because laughter and silliness is one of the best doses of medicine I can provide to patients.
