This gown will be gifted to Riley who is currently going through treatment. This is what Riley's family shared with us about her journey:

"Riley! Survived 2 cardiac arrests after cardiogenic shock, multi-organ failure that left her intestines dysfunctional and unable to absorb any nutrients. They were necrotic after her arrests and she needed her colon removed and was diagnosed with intestinal failure. She will be living on TPN and medications through her central line for the foreseeable future until she eventually gets a transplant. She continues to have medical issues due to the fact that her genetic testing revealed Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Her intestinal failure and reliance on centra lines also leads to line infections and replacements, bowel obstructions (so far 4 have required emergency open surgery), hematological issues and intense Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)  pain flares from all of these medical procedures (though she was first diagnosed with CRPS at age 7, earlier than all other diagnoses)."
