This gown will be gifted to seven-year-old Maddix who is awaiting surgery. This is what Maddix's Mom had to share with us:
"Our Mighty Bay-Maddix will be having his 80th operation but 3rd Open Heart Surgery on the 14th. The doctors will not only be replacing his baby sized pulmonary conduit, but they will be replacing his mitral valve and repairing his aortic valve. the surgery is expected to take anywhere from 12-20 Hours due to how sick his heart is they have to move very cautiously. Maddix unknowingly until about 12 hours before he was born would need to spend his first 10.5 months of life in the cicu! Now at almost 8 years old and on progressive palliative care is about to undergo another huge surgery."
