This gown will be gifted to three-year-old Everest who is currently going through treatment for 22q deletion syndrome. This is what Everest's family shared with us about his journey:
"Since birth he has been in and out of the hospital as he is medically complex, fragile, and immunocompromised. Everest is an open heart warrior, epilepsy warrior, and gtube dependent. Everest wears continuous glucose monitors, oxygen dependent with sleep, and continuous gtube feeds which as of next week will be GJ feeds. He has hypoglycemia due to post prandial hypoglycemia and gets monthly IVIG infusions to help prevent hospitalizations due to illnesses. He has a left upper chest port that is accessed at minimum every month for infusion days and any labs or hospitalizations. Having gowns he can be comfortable in and have his personality show, means a lot to us. He loves Mickey Mouse. He is just 3 years old as of next week."
