 "Christopher was born a fighter. He was a 26 week preemie and suffered grade3/4 bilateral brain bleeds. As a result, he has many complications including congenital heart defect, chronic lung disease, fragile airway, feeding difficulties and spastic quad cerebral. He has beat so many odds and continues to fight and endure and conquer so much. He has had many surgeries in his 17 years. He has a really big surgery coming up in November and will be hospitalized for an extended length of time at Shriners Hospital in Greenville, SC. We will be about 500 miles from home and away from everyone we know."
