This gown will be gifted to two-year-old AJ who is a ex-25 week micro preemie who spent 299 days in the NICU. He has several medical conditions (as most preemies do) and several weekly therapies to make up for his delays. Most critically, AJ has an upcoming eye surgery for a rare retina condition (so rare there is no name for it!). Mom and Dad are worried about this upcoming surgery, especially since he has chronic lung disease and every surgery is hard on his lungs and little body. AJ is an incredibly sweet and funny little boy - we want him to feel as brave as he is on the day of surgery!
