Help Kennedy Spread Brave Gowns To Mott's Children's Hospital

$ 25.00

Ten-year-old Kennedy has a smile and natural happiness that lights up a room. She has made such an impact to those around her throughout her hospital stay. Never did we for see the flu and then a bruise turning into sepsis, and now we know that Kennedy will lose her toes. It all has happened so fast and through the entire whirlwind of her months-long hospital stay, Kennedy has continued to shine.

Through this experience, we have been so grateful for everyone's kind words and support. Along the way, we were sent a Brave Gown. Kennedy LOVES her gown. It has made such a difference and kept her comfortable. Brave Gowns are so much softer than hospital gowns! We would love your help by sponsoring a Brave Gown to spread Kennedy's joy, and gift as many Brave Gowns as possible to children at Mott's Children's Hospital. By sponsoring Brave Gowns with Kennedy, not only will a gown go to a child, but the net proceeds will also be gifted to our family to use towards Kennedy’s treatment.

Thank you! -Kennedy & The Mayer Family

Update from Brave Gowns:

By sponsoring Brave Gowns with Kennedy, not only will a gown go to a child, but the net proceeds will also be gifted to the Kennedy's family to use towards Kennedy’s treatment. The last month has been a whirlwind of hardship for Kennedy's family. The night before Kennedy was rushed to the hospital and went into sepsis, their car was stolen. They had to rent a car just to get to the hospital. Geico has since denied their claim due to a technicality of saying they missed signing a piece of paper when they signed up with their company last year. Now that Kennedy's sepsis is under control, she will have to endure having her toes amputated. Just when you think that life couldn't get any harder for them at this moment, Kennedy's mom, Meghan, the kindest human and incredible teacher, ran home from the hospital to grab a few items and fell down the stairs. She broke her foot in multiple places and is now awaiting surgery.

Being the helpers they are they liked the idea of the Brave Gown campiagn vs a Gofundme, because it will help others while also helping their family. Go Fund Me, but wanted to help put other children in Brave Gowns. So, together, not only are we raising gowns to fill children's hospitals, we are donating funds back to their family to help where we can. Kennedy just hit 250 Brave Gowns of their 1,000 gown goal. We currently have a waiting list of over 4,000 Brave Gowns for hospitals all over the country, so no amount is too big to help hospitalized children and Kennedy' family!
