Help Gift Brave Gowns to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh w/Daulton Jefferies & Scottie's Gift Foundation
On May 1, 2017, at the age of 16, Scott was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Stunned by the news, his family was prepared to do anything and everything to support Scott through his treatment. Scott and his family spent the next 10 months in and out of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. Throughout his entire treatment, Scott never spent a moment alone.
A few weeks into his diagnosis, as he sat waiting for his chemo treatment, Scott was inspired to help every newly diagnosed pediatric cancer patient in the Bay Area. With the help of his family, he wanted to give gift baskets with goodies that would comfort children receiving treatment in the hospital. On May 27, 2017, Scott wrote a letter detailing his wishes and plans for these gift baskets. As the months went by, Scott focused all of his efforts on fighting cancer but still remained committed to his plans for helping others going through the same thing in the future.
During a regularly scheduled checkup on March 8, 2018, Scott relapsed. Shortly after, he passed away on March 12, 2018. Scott fought to his last breath and left behind a dream that the Kienhofers are proud to carry on.
Inspired by Scott’s vision, Scottie’s Gift Foundation was created on May 1st, 2021 by the Kienhofer Family. The Foundation’s mission is to bring love, joy, and comfort to newly diagnosed pediatric cancer patients and their families, which is why their mission aligned perfectly with Brave Gowns.
Be a part of making a difference by giving the gift of Brave Gowns to the children at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh with Daulton Jefferies and Scottie's Gift Foundation.
By sponsoring a Brave Gown, you're not just making a difference in the lives of hospitalized children; you're helping fulfill Scottie's wish and legacy, while becoming a symbol of hope. Your donation will provide children with joy and comfort when they need it most.
Thank you!

Brave Gowns are the perfect way to bring comfort and fun when patients have to get something traumatic done. We use our fun designs to give everyone a little hope and normalcy at a time they need it most. Brave Gowns aren't your typical hospital gown. They have IV access on both sleeves, access to chest ports and heart monitors and last but definitely not least, the gowns are softer than you can even imagine, which is crucial to children going through treatment.
WHEN ORDERING THESE GOWNS, IF CHECKING OUT VIA PAYPAL, THEY WILL ASK FOR YOUR ADDRESS, BUT THEY WILL NOT SHIP TO YOU PERSONALLY.
