We are so pleased to announce that we are once again partnering with Brave Gowns! Those of you who have known us from the start know that Brian was born 12/7/15 and spent his first Christmas in the hospital. Partnering with Brave Gowns to support kids at CHOP seemed like a perfect fit for Brian's 7th Birthday fundraiser!
Why did we choose Brave Gowns this year? We chose Brave Gowns because CHOP has 546 inpatient beds that will be full of children this holiday season. Many children will be waking up at CHOP on Christmas morning. Being in the hospital on Christmas is hard and the thought of us being able to bring a bit of joy during a tough time is exactly the way we want to celebrate Brian’s birthday. Something as simple as a cool hospital gown had the ability to rejuvenate a child and family who have to spend so much time in the hospital. If you are new to our page, every year we do a fundraiser for CHOP as a way to celebrate Brian’s birthday. CHOP gave us Brian’s life back after he was misdiagnosed at another hospital and coded twice because of their negligence. After being transferred to CHOP, they correctly diagnosed us and supported us on our journey to getting Brian’s life back!
This is our 3rd year doing a Brave Gowns fundraiser. Due to the amazing support of all of our family and friends, we were able to donate 138 gowns to CHOP during the first two fundraisers! This year, we are setting our goal at 50, with hopes of surpassing that again!~Thank you
