Sponsor a Brave Gown For a Child on Brave Gowns' Waitlist with Avery Woods
As a nurse, I saw first-hand how hard hospital stays can be for children and their families. In those moments, even the smallest comforts can make a meaningful difference. That is why I am honored to rally with Brave Gowns to help fill children’s hospitals with gowns that bring comfort, dignity, and courage to kids in treatment.
Being a mom is the greatest gift of my life, and it’s why this mission feels so deeply personal to me. As a mom of both a boy and girls of a wide age range, with very different personalities, I love that Brave Gowns allow children and teens to show their unique style and personalities while still feeling like themselves, even in the hospital. A soft, vibrant Brave Gown, with characters that kids love, can help a child feel more like themselves in a place that can be overwhelming and unfamiliar. It is such a simple change, but it carries so much emotional weight for children during hard days. Each gown is a small but powerful way to bring comfort when children need it most, and as a mom, I know how important it is to let kids be kids.
Brave Gowns has an ever-growing list of children and children’s hospitals hoping to receive them. It would mean so much to help wrap more children in comfort, courage, and love when they need it most. Each year, 5.6 million children are hospitalized in the United States. Behind that number are real children, real families, and moments where a small act of comfort can change the entire hospital experience. Sponsor a Brave Gown to show kids how powerful it is when we all come together. We would love your help to sponsor Brave Gowns for children in hospitals nationwide.

Even though it asks you for a shipping address, the gowns will NOT ship to you personally. For the privacy of each child, after the order is placed, we edit the shipping address internally so that they ship directly to the child. Thank you.
