This gown will be gifted to seven-year-old Nate who is going through treatment for Fanconi Anemia. This is what Nate's family had to share with us:
"Meet Nate — a brave, bright, and beautiful soul who has already faced more challenges in his young life than most of us will in a lifetime. At just 7, Nate has been diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia (FA), a rare and life-threatening genetic disorder that affects the bone marrow and can lead to cancer, organ failure, and other serious complications.
Nate is not just a patient — he’s a fighter. He loves Minecraft, Star Wars, playing with LEGOS and playing video games. Despite the constant doctor’s visits, hospital stays, and grueling treatments, Nate continues to smile, pray and inspire everyone around him.
Nate is being admitted to CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) on August 19 to undergo a bone marrow transplant. This marks the beginning of a long and difficult journey. He will be in the hospital for 4 to 6 weeks, followed by at least six months of being homebound while his immune system recovers. Fanconi Anemia often requires this kind of intensive treatment and long-term medical support."
