This gown will be gifted to six-year-old Alexis who was born with a congenital heart defect. This is what her family shared with us:

"Alexis has been a brave, resilient little girl since the day she was born 4 years ago. Alexis was born with a congenital heart defect and had her first procedure in the Cath Lab at one day old. She has since received multiple other diagnoses including immunodeficiency, hemiplegia affecting left side, Refractive amblyopia, bilateral, coordination disorder, anxiety, Oral phase dysphagia, SBE (subacute bacterial endocarditis) prophylaxis candidate. She has also had ear tubes in and her adenoids taken out, she has asthma and she’s a pulmonologist because of a chronic cough that she’s had for years. Despite all of our diagnoses, she loves to dance. She also loves Barbies, drawing and coloring, Disney princesses and dressing up. She wears pink sparkly glasses, loves having her hair done by mom and is such a girly girl. She has a sweet but fiery spirit what gets her through the tough times."
