"Dominic has a rare muscular disorder called Nemaline Myopathy. He spent most of his first year of his life in the hospital because of this disorder we didn’t know he has. Because of the disorder he ends up in the hospital a lot due to pneumonia or not being able to keep food down. He is Gtube dependent. Anytime he gets sick he is at high risk of ending up in the PICU. He cannot have nasal oxygen so he has to be in the PICU to be on bipap if he needs oxygen. It has been a long road for our sweet 2 year old and our hospital visits will continue through his life. He also has PT, OT, Speech, and feeding therapy."
