Cancer may have stolen their childhood, but it’s also taught them very valuable life lessons and it’s helped strengthen their bond. No 4 & 5 year old should ever be faced with knowing how to clean a port and bandage an IV, but these kids are absolute pros. They also love helping others and giving back, so we thought we could do something together as a family for the holidays. Brave Gowns was the perfect mission because they were created by a cancer sibling. Summer was 15 years older than her little brother, who went to heaven from a medical error. Her love for her brother is what brought Brave Gowns to life! Brave Gowns is not a big corporation but a person with a passion to improve the hospital experience for children.
