In 2014, after having an esophageal tumor removed and then another surgery in 2015, I knew how scary the medical world was first hand. It was a life-changing experience and from that moment I knew I wanted to make my mark on the world. For the last three years, I have helped raise awareness for Brave Gowns and all they do for hospitalized children. When Brave Gowns reached out and asked for help, because they have over 400 children on their waiting list, I said, "of course!"
